Example: HODL 4 USD (hold $4 worth of USDolly) In case you want to buy approximately $4 of USDolly (you can buy as little crypto as you want), you first have to buy the crypto Solana (SOL) via your preferred payment method (e.g. iDEAL, Wero, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay) and then exchange / swap this Solana into USDolly.

Small note: Solana (SOL) is often sold with a higher minimum amount (it differs by country and payment provider). However, virtually none of your crypto will be consumed or lost, except for the very small transaction fees, including blockchain/network gas fees. The Solana (SOL) that has not been exchanged / swapped into USDolly will remain in your wallet as Solana (SOL) until you decide what to do with it.

Choose your device

  1. Download and Install crypto wallet software (e.g. Phantom)

    Open the App Store, search Phantom and install Phantom – Crypto Wallet by Phantom Technologies. To be sure you get the real app, you can also go to phantom.com/download in Safari.

  2. Create your private crypto wallet (crypto wallet address)

    Open Phantom and tap Create a new wallet. Follow the screens: sign in with Apple, Google or email if offered, and turn on Face ID.

    If Phantom shows you a Secret Recovery Phrase (12 words), write it on paper and keep it somewhere safe. Anyone with these words owns your wallet.

  3. Buy crypto from a leading blockchain (e.g. Solana)

    • On the home screen tap Buy.
    • Choose Solana (SOL) and enter an amount in your own currency.
    • Pick how to pay: Apple Pay, iDEAL | Wero, Visa/Mastercard or bank transfer. What you see depends on your country.
    • The first time, the payment partner (for example MoonPay) may ask for your ID. This is a legal requirement.
    • Pay. Your SOL usually arrives within a few minutes.

  4. Exchange / Swap Solana (SOL) for USDolly

    • Copy the USDolly address above.
    • In Phantom tap Swap.
    • At You pay, choose SOL. At You receive, tap the token, paste the address into the search box and pick USDolly.
    • Check that the address shown matches exactly.
    • Enter how much SOL to swap, for example $4 worth. Leave about 0.01 SOL for network fees.
    • Tap Review, then Swap.

    Phantom may warn that this is a small or unverified token. That's normal for new coins; read it, and only continue if the address matches.

  5. You're a proud crypto holder (both Solana & USDolly)

    USDolly now appears on your home screen. If you don't see it, search for it or add it via Manage token list.
